Special Offering

Today we will be taking a special offering for the Brent Olstad Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is available to students going to Bible School.

Men’s Bible Study

Men’s Bible study has now ended for the season.

New Norway Community Garage Sale

On Saturday May 17 from 12pm-5pm, there will be a community garage sale. New Norway Residents are encouraged to set up their garage sales at their homes. Everyone is encouraged to walk around our community checking out everyone’s items and meeting your fellow neighbours. We also welcome youth to set up lemonade stands. As a church, we are hoping to participate, so we will be opening up the lawn beside the church for those who wish to set up tables there.

Guest Speaker

For the next several weeks, we will be having some guest speakers, as Paul will be unavailable for preaching. We will have the pleasure of hearing from Peter Shultz a few times, Craig Isaac, and LSBC Sunday. Please pray for these men as God prepares them to teach the congregation.

Search Committee

The next search committee meeting is May 20th.

Camp Sunday

On June 1st, we will be gathering as a church at Living Springs Bible Camp. This means, there will not be a service at the Highland Park Church location.

Greg and Shelli Neufeld

The Neufeld’s are retiring from their 26 years of missionary service in Hermosillo, Mexico. They are inviting us to a Mexican Fiesta, an evening of thanksgiving and celebration with them at their home church in Didsbury, AB on Sunday evening June 1. Come and hear what God has in store for them. Talk to Jean for details.

LSBC Offering

On June 8, we will be having another special offering for Living Springs Bible Camp. This offering is intended to support the staff that will be dedicating their whole summer to working at camp.
